1813 people don die in Nigeria since January – Amnesty Intl

Human Rights NGO Amnesty International don yan say dem dey “worry” about di killings wey 1813 people don die for Nigeria for 2018.

Dem say di number don pass di 894 people wey die for 2017 due to farmers-herdsmen kasala and Boko Haram attack.

Di NGO director, Osai Ojigho, for inside statement say, Nigeria government don fail to stop di bloody killings wey dey hapun for di country.

Ojigho say, “Di way killings dey increase across di country dey worry us, especially di clash between famers and herdsmen across at least 17 states.

“Authorities get di responsibility to protect life and property, but dem no dey do enough if you dey look wetin dey hapun.”

Governor Simon Lalong say, people wey pass  200 die for di attacks wey hapun for about 11 communities for Barkin Ladi local government area of di state for weekend.

Amnesty International also draw ear give Nigeria government on how di killings go affect farming, especially as people dey run leave dia farmlands.

“We dey di peak of farming season, but based on say fear of attack dem don run leave dia farms wey be dia major source of food and income.

“Make dem arrest people wey dey responsible as di kiling don dey turn to everyday sometin”.

As e dey now for Nigeria, Fulani killings of Christians dey like “Our daily Bread “.
