Agbaje yan say, 

“Our great party, d Peoples Democratic Party, has, from d beginning, bin adopt certain principles, wey don balance evenly offices for d country geo-political zones.  In line with such and oda reasons, I don talk for different gatherings say I believe make d next National Chairman come from d South-West.

“I sha dey convinced say with seven out of all nine aspirants wey dey come from South-West, dis people go work to d detriment of our zone when e reach time to vote.

“Delegates’ votes split for seven ways no go fit produce chairman from d South-West. E therefore dey necessary to cut our number down to no more than two.

“With less dan 24 hours to d convention, I don painfully decide to withdraw from d race with d hope say others go join me to bring down d number so dat South-West fit get fighting chance of clinching d National Chairmanship of d PDP.”
