Up to 200 youths for two communities don  threaten to stop d Super Eagles match against Zambia on Saturday.

Youths for d two communities, Obio Etoi and Obio Ofot, where d Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo dey, don swear to scatter everything for d World Cup qualifying match wey Nigeria and Zambia go play dis  weekend.

They want make d Akwa Ibom state government fulfill dia promises to dem if dey want make d match go on in peace.

Youths from d communities wey reach about 200 with plenty placards yan say even as dem get dat kind fine beautiful stadium for dia side, say plenty members of d  communities still dey unemployed, many of dem go get wetin to do while d state government no gree construct roads inside dia communities as dem bin agree before dem build d stadium.

Sunday Peters, wey be d youth leader of Obio Etoi village, wey lead d protesters, yan say since 2011 when Julius Berger start work for d stadium, d villagers no get anything to show for am. 

Him talk say;

“D company bin block all diversion ways to d  community with dia heavy equipment and machines, and at some point we bin sell our land to maintain d road. Na why we dey cry to d state government and we go continue to cry until dem do”.

As him take put am, because of dis tin wey  Julius Berger do, d communities around d  stadium don become flooded as most water ways don dey blocked by dia equipment. Eteidung Ezekiel Inyang Ekott, wey be d village head of d Obio Etoi, kon talk say d youths’ action no be to disturb d Super Eagles’ match wey dey come d communities, but to attract government attention to dia  promises to d communities.

Him talk say dey bin don send plenty letters already from him palace to d state government to remind dem of wetin dem dey face for dia communities but dey don ignore dem. 

Ephraim Inyang, wey be d state Commissioner of Works, wey come d protest venue with Charles Udo, wey be d  Information Commissioner, talk say dem bin don mark d road for construction. Him still talk say dem go soon start work for dia in a week time.
